Today I’ve been working on a really exciting project that uses solely hand stitching. With that comes knot tying…yuck! Do you ever get super frustrated at trying to tie the perfect knot in your thread? If it’s too big, a bump shows up on the right side of your material, if it’s too small, it slips through your fabric, or maybe your fingers are sore from tying & sewing too much. I have got a solution for you!
Watch this video to see a simple, effective and consistent way to knot your thread when hand sewing. Grab a needle and thread and practice along with me! If it doesn’t work the first few times, don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of it in no time and you’ll be so glad you did!
